If I could only share one thing with you about me it would be that my greatest joy is the feeling I get when I know I have helped someone make their life better. When I discovered that was the key to true happiness my own life turned around. Aside from that I'm a native Californian. I enjoy the outdoors, gardening, Ice skating, and now living in Maui, I love the beach, and constantly learning and attending classes in the healing arts.
The best thing about having my own business is being free to do whatever I want to do. The thought of having to punch a time clock is something I have avoided all my life. I am grateful every day for the friends I've made and the fun life I lead.
For me, it all started when although I had my own business I realized working an hourly wage would never get me the retirement income I would need or provide the financial freedom I wanted for my son and me. So while discovering amazing products that greatly helped my clients and family I realized hey, this could be a great, fun and loving business.

8 Step Action Plan
For Building Your Business
Step #1 First and Foremost USE THE PRODUCTS—Build a passion around the NutriHarmony product line by experiencing them firsthand and using them on a regular basis. Your goal is to build your own powerful testimonial around these products. The more you believe in the products, the more inspired and motivated you are to share them. Using the products builds a fire within—a passion that makes you want to tell others what you’ve found. If you’re not on Automatic Monthly Order yet, get signed up right away.
Step #2 MAKE A LIST of the top 20 people you know who might be interested in the products and/or the business. Do this within the first 48 hours after you become a distributor. Contact the first 10 within the first week and the next 10 within the next week. Lean upon your upline to help you with your TOP 20. Once you’ve followed up on your first 20 people, make a list of the next 20 people you know who are the most likely to be interested. Follow the same procedure for this group of 20 and then the next group of 20 and so on, until you’ve exhausted your warm market list. Research shows that most everyone knows at least 200 people, many of which are likely candidates. Note: Remember, whatever you do, your downline will tend to follow. So work your list.
Finally, when you’re around your downline, show them your list. This will encourage them to make their own.
Step #3 LEVERAGE YOUR UPLINE—Work with them daily by phone and through email, especially for the first four weeks. Get in the middle of the excitement. Lean upon your upline indefinitely through 3-way calling to prospects and distributors. Call upon your upline regularly to help you build your business.
Step #4 DEVELOP YOUR OWN 60 DAY CAMPAIGN
to jump start your business—and build momentum. During these 60 days: Commit to at least 2 exposures and 2 follow-ups per day. Note: An exposure would include handing out the CD, leading a prospect your website,
a 3-way call with you and your upline, encouraging your prospect to join you on a conference call, etc.
REMEMBER THIS: The fortunes are in the follow through! A follow-up would include calling back a prospect to get more of their questions answered, sending a prospect the CD you promised, calling them after they listen to a CD to see how they felt about it, etc.
Step #5 GET EDUCATED. If you want to build a part-time or full-time business it’s important to get in the middle of the action and stay in the action. Listen to at least one company conference call per week (on the products or business opportunity) for the first 6 months.
Attend meetings and trainings by phone or in person. During your first week, either attend a training face-to-face or get with your sponsor or upline by phone for an in depth training of how to market the products and build the business.
Stay connected. Get involved and stay involved.
Step #6 SET CONCRETE GOALS for how much income you want to produce within the first month, three months and six months (for starters). Then work with your upline to design a simple strategy for achieving these goals. Review these goals weekly to keep them in the forefront of your mind. Adjust your strategy as needed to meet these goals. You must have a plan.
Step #7 ENCOURAGE EVERYONE YOU SPONSOR
to religiously follow this 8 step plan. Help them follow-through with it. Encourage them to begin working the plan as soon as they sign up to be a distributor.
Step #8 HAVE FUN! Keep it light and have fun working your business. Whether you want to build a part-time or full-time income, it can offer you a tremendous amount of financial and time freedom. Just let your natural enthusiasm for the products and income opportunity motivate and inspire you to share with others. Remember: You’re offering a service to them when you’re sharing the gift of these products.
The Partners in Prosperity program
Our business plan is really simple:
You become a Distributor of our fantastic products. (This costs you nothing.)
You commit to purchasing a minimum of $50 or $125 of products every month for 12 months.
You also commit to enrolling one new Distributor to do this same plan every month for
12 months.
If you and everyone in your business organization fulfill these two commitments, starting
in your twelfth month you will have achieved the following: If you spend the $50
You’ll have a business organization of 4,000 members.
You will have a total sales volume of about $200,000.
You will earn a commission check of about $10,000.
(Look at the spreadsheet that shows you how the One A Month Plan produces these
numbers.)
If you and everyone else continue the plan, your income will grow dramatically each
month.
The way you introduce this plan to someone else is just the way I’m doing it with you, by
giving him or her this little presentation, either verbally or in writing or both.
We have a great system that gives you guidance from day one on how to start your
business, and we have a dedicated team of people to give you support as you go along.
We call our team program Partners in Prosperity. And we call our business plan the One
A Month Plan.

Eight Steps to Success
How to Build a Successful Independent Business
The best way to succeed in building your business is to copy what successful people have done before you. Almost every successful network marketer has followed these 8 steps. The key is to do these steps over and over again, until you meet your goals.
Step 1. Ask yourself why you want to build your own business. Write out your answers. This is extremely important.
When you write something down, then ask yourself, "What will I get from that?" The answers to these questions will provide you with a strength of purpose to carry you through the inevitable challenges of learning a new business.
Step 2. Write a list of all the people you have known in your life. Minimum 100. No less. Better would be 200. Review the list and choose your top 25.
Step 3. Practice what you will say or write when you reach out to people. Do all of this with your sponsor or anyone else who will play with you. The important thing is to become very clear about the purpose of your letters, phone calls, conversations, and to be clear on what you want to say.
Step 4. Get basic marketing materials and set up your office. Remember, everything you do should be simple so that someone else can easily copy or "duplicate" what you have done. The tapes, brochures, pamphlets, CD's and newsletters are your "experts". Let them do the marketing for you. Your own website is another excellent marketing tool. Just tell people to visit your site!
Step 5. Call your first five contacts or send out a cover letter and CD, tape or favorite marketing material to ten. Be yourself. Share your " story." Find out if this person is willing to simply "check out" this wonderful product/business you have found because you value their opinion. Keep your conversations short and simple.
Step 6. After you have made your initial contact, make another contact to follow up and find out what the person found most interesting in the materials you sent.
Listen carefully to what they say; encourage the person to ask questions. If the person has a genuinely curious or positive response, now is the time to simply ask the person if they would like to try some of our amazing products.
Step 7. Place an order for your new Customer or Distributor or help her or him to do it (online, or by phone). Discuss the details with your sponsor.
Step 8. Repeat the process, and teach your new Distributors to do the same. If you are willing to find 10 other people who are willing to do this 8 step process, and then teach it to others, you will be well on your way to success and prosperity!
Some suggestions on how to implement the One A Month plan:
1. Make your personal commitment to the plan either in writing or verbally to one of
your Partners. After all, this is an investment that could change your financial life.
Make a formal commitment.
2. Start the Eight Steps to Success. Do them every month as part of your business
plan. While they are written for someone doing a standard network marketing
business, the basics still apply to our hybrid program of network
marketing/investment.
3. Assign the first week of every month to your most intensive work, reaching out to
prospective new Partners. For seven days each month, you’ll be doing the hardest
part of the Plan: making contact with enough people to find the One new Partner
you want. Remember, if you do this in week one, you will not have to do it at all
for the rest of the month!
4. Spend the rest of the month training your new Partner.
a. Start them off with Steps 1 and 2 of the Eight Steps immediately.
b. Meet to go over their goals…and share yours!…in person or on the phone.
c. Help them practice reading the presentation.
d. Do not try to “manage” your partner. Do not impose yourself if they don’t
want your help. Be available for support as you’d like someone to be for
you.
e. Help your partner get familiar with all the resources we have (the YLW
website for product and business training, the YLEO corporate site for
virtual office, etc.)
5. Keep track of your activities and create a reminder system to call back anyone
who says “no” in six months. A lot of things can change in someone’s life over
six months, including their level of interest in making more income.
And think about this: If you follow the plan and help all your Partners do the same, you
will have a retirement income in one year. What do you think would happen if you
enrolled three partners in your first month and then just one per month for the rest of the
year? Your income at month 12 would be twice as much. (I did the math. You can do it,
too. It’s true. $20,000.)
The key, of course, is that everyone in your burgeoning organization fulfills their two
commitments every month without fail. Will this happen? Probably not. Why?
Because commitment is a precious commodity and not everyone has it. Thus, it is always
in your best interest to keep a watchful eye on how your organization is growing, and if
there is a weak spot, step in, however you can, and either bring in a new Partner or help
the person who is having trouble to achieve their monthly goals.
